This worksheet allows you to plan your website and enhance communications between you and Computer Taming.  It follows the same outline as the Web Site Design Tutorial.  Please print it on your printer, and have it handy when you discuss your project with me.  After we've talked, please make a photocopy for your records, and mail a signed copy to me along with your initial payment.

• 1. Purpose

  Give the most important purpose a "1", next most important a "2".  Leave those blank which do not interest you at all.

  Photos and ClipArt you supply either by sending the photos or clipart themselves to be scanned and returned, or by sending the digitized images on a diskette, CD-ROM, or on a Kodak Photo-CD.  You may also use PhotoNet or the Kodak Picture Network.  (You write down the photo number or file name and inform me of your choices, along with your code, and which page each photo goes on. I can help you select the photos, but I would need to bill you for my time at my hourly rate.)

• 9. Promoting and Advertising Your Web Site

  Initial Promotion includes submission to 9 Search Engines(Alta Vista, Excite, HotBot, Infoseek, Lycos, OpenText, WebCrawler, What-U-Seek, and the WWW Worm), 6 General Directories(Appolo, Galaxy, InfoSpace, Magellen, New Riders Yellow Pages, and Yahoo), and 3 Announcement Sites(Net Happenings, What's New on the Internet, and What's New Too) after final payment is received.

  Additional listings may require added payments based on my Web Rates Sheet and charges from the directories for posting your listing.  Please list any target directories you want to be listed in:

• 10. Maintaining and Updating Your Web Site

  Quotes include minor updating of up to one hour per page over the first 30 days of the contract.  This covers minor changes only. Major content changes, which essentially involves constructing a new Web page, and additional Web pages will be additional.
